CBC-Colorado students arrival in Russia. (L-R: Stan Goodman, Leonora Britton, Kimberly Kral, Clint Zeller, Cristina Goodman, Deborah Peters, Joanne Lawrence, Zoe Newton, and Dino Bridges [Not pictured: JB McKoy, Mark Jones and Sharayah Stitt]). (Click to enlarge)On March 2, after more than 30 hours of continuous travel, a mission team from Charis Bible College was back at home in Colorado Springs. The 14 person team, led by CBC Night School Director, Mark Jones and CBC-intern, Sharayah Stitt, had just returned from a week's worth of ministry in Russia.

The Colorado team was hosted by seasoned missionaries, Carrie and Mike Pickett, the Directors of Andrew Wommack Ministries Russia, and the CBC extension school, Charis Bible Training Center in St. Petersburg. The Picketts provided the visiting mission team with many opportunities to share God's unconditional love and grace with the Russian people. The Colorado second-year students taught the first-year students at CBTC in a classroom setting, they visited a drug rehab where they shared with individual Clint and Garrett praying for a young mother at the church in Korelia.

groups of men and women, and they also visited a church several hours north of St. Petersburg.

Having heard the wonderful testimonies from previous mission teams, Colorado student, Clint Zeller, went to Russia anticipating having an amazing ministry experience. What he didn't expect was the way in which the Lord would minister to him. Through his time in Russia, Clint began to understand his relationship with Jesus in a new way.

"This trip helped me realize that I can stop questioning everything that comes to me, and just rest in Him. I don't think we realize how cluttered our lives are until we have a chance to step away, even Clint speaking on grace to first-year CBTC students through his interpreter Jules. (Click to enlarge) for a short time, and completely focus on Him. So many times we allow our minds to get in the way of what God is telling us, but His voice becomes much clearer when we can put everything aside and just allow Him to move through us. No matter what He calls us to, we can rest in the fact that we are blessed no matter where we are. We don't have to worry about anything because He is with us. It took a trip to the other side of the planet for me to figure this out, but it's definitely something I won't forget," said Clint.

One of the places the team had the opportunity to minister was at a small village church in northwestern Russia, in the Republic of Karelia. The church recently started a small Bible school and Stan, Cristina, and Kimmy, praying for healing for a man at the church in Korelia. (Click to enlarge)was hungry for more teaching of the Word. The students spent a couple of nights teaching, sharing testimonies and praying for the people in the congregation.

For one CBC student, JB McKoy, the visit to the church in Karelia provided the opportunity to minister one-on-one to a former prison inmate. JB said that the man, Dema, had been in prison for the past six years. He had been on and off drugs, and he was afraid of falling back into drug dependence. JB was able to pray with him over the course of the two nights in Karelia and he was able to encourage Dema in the sufficiency of God's love to keep him on the right path.

JB also enjoyed ministering in front of a larger crowd at CBTC. "I had the wonderful opportunity to share my life-changing message on renewing the mind with over twenty Russian first-year students, plus the team and school JB McKoy (right) sharing his message with students at CBTC.

staff," JB said.

JB put everything he had into his message and its delivery and was excited to see the students' expressions as the message began to resonate with them at what JB perceived to be a heart level. He saw the students writing down the many Scripture references he shared, and he knew the Word would have a tremendous impact. At the conclusion of JB's teaching, he gave each student a gift, a matted print he had made of a butterfly picture with a Scriptural message of hope and encouragement written in Russian.

Clint and JB's experiences are just two more examples of the wonderful way the Lord weaves his love and grace into the ministry that takes place on the mission field as CBC students go forth proclaiming the Good News.

Students Let Holy Spirit Lead in UK

CBC students, Lisa and Chris Cree minister to a gentleman in the United Kingdom. (Click to enlarge)Last month a team from Charis Bible College in Colorado hopped the pond for a short-term mission trip to the United Kingdom. The 11 member team led by CBC's Intern Coordinator, Carlie Terradez and third-year intern, David Carter, ministered in England, Scotland and Ireland.

With their schedules packed as tightly as their luggage, the team began their overseas ministry experience on the evening of their arrival in England. They shared a refreshing time of worship and fellowship with the students and staff from CBC's West Midlands' campus.

For CBC-Colorado student, Drewrome (Drew) Williams, the casual setting of the first evening allowed him to get acclimated and also provided him the opportunity to share a word of knowledge with a CBC-England student. Both men were encouraged by the accuracy of Drew's word as the man confirmed that the things Drew spoke were the same things the man had been carrying in his heart.CBC-Colorado student, Drew Williams, open-air preaching in Scotland. (Click to enlarge)

Throughout the trip the Holy Spirit continued to work through Drew. In Scotland, he had the opportunity to minister from a platform in a city shopping mall. He remembered praying, before it was his turn to share, that he would have boldness and enough vocal volume to minister effectively. Drew said, "When it was my turn to speak, I sensed the power of the Holy Spirit, and my voice was unusually loud. I felt like I was watching myself speak. It was as though the Holy Spirit had taken over and I was along for the ride."

While still in Scotland, the team attended a service held at Glen Aros Church in Dumfries. There, Drew prayed with a woman for healing in her ankle. This opportunity had a particular significance for Drew because before leaving Colorado, a classmate had told him he would minister to someone with an ankle problem. After his prayer, the woman's broken CBC-Colorado students, Vern and Kathy Raney and Georgia Boudreau, pray for a student from the Walsall campus. (Click to enlarge)ankle was completely healed.

More than a year before this Colorado team had their chance to go to the UK, the Lord had awakened a love for the region in Lisa Cree's heart. She and her husband Chris, who also traveled with the team, went with optimistic and expectant hearts. The two know they are called to encourage and disciple other believers, and the Lord brought many such opportunities on this journey.

While visiting Dumfries, Lisa and Chris prayed with a married couple, Margie and Joe. Margie was battling a life-threatening Lisa and Chris Cree prayed for and encouraged this couple, Joe and Margie. (Click to enlarge)illness and the couple simply asked the Cree's to agree with them that Margie would be healed. Lisa and Chris agreed, and boldly cursed the sickness. They commanded the sickness to leave Margie's body in Jesus' name and spoke a blessing of health and healing over her. There wasn't any visible sign that the healing had manifested, but the Cree's reminded Margie and Joe that God is faithful.

Lisa said, "As we prayed with them we saw God connect our hearts. As I prayed, I thought, 'If praying with this couple is the one thing you have sent us on this trip for, it is so worth it, just for them. You love each of us so much Father.'"

Chris (at right) practices the ministry of listening as John shares his aviation stories. (Click to enlarge)Chris recalled his own impactful moments from the trip to Scotland. He shared that in addition to Joe and Margie, he met a man named John. John had come up from England to attend the outreach the team held on Friday night. As Chris and John spoke, John indicated that he worked as a commercial pilot. Because Chris had flown off aircraft carriers in the US Navy, he found he had common ground (or air) with John. Chris said, "Of all the people there, I was the one who spoke his language."

Chris was able to encourage John simply by listening to his aviation stories and truly being able to understand them. Chris said The Colorado team in Belfast with staff and students from CBC-Ireland. (Click to enlarge)of their conversations, "There wasn't anything super spiritual, perhaps, but it was valuable.

It had been John's intention to return home to England Saturday morning, but he decided to stay and go to church Sunday morning. Then he decided to stick around for the Sunday evening service. As Chris and John were talking Sunday evening, Chris could see and hear a change in John. He said, "John kept saying, 'I didn't expect this.'"

"Sure, we saw miracle healings and salvations while on our trip to the UK. I think all CBC mission trips do. They are awesome, no doubt. But the biggest thing I learned on this trip is how important encouragement is to the body of believers," said Chris.

Second-year students from Charis Bible College in Colorado recently served on the mission field in Machala, Ecuador. (Click to enlarge)Early in March, ten second-year students from Charis Bible College in Colorado were given a taste of life on the mission field in Ecuador. The team, led by CBC's Online Education Director, Greg Macy and his wife, Citlalli, were hosted by Charis alumni and full-time missionaries, CBC grad and missionary, Mickey Cartagena addresses men in a local drug rehab in Machala.

While looking at the cultural and regional diversity of the team, one student was prompted to ask God, "Why did you put this team together? How is this going to work, Lord?" The student's questions came while preparing for the trip as a team and evaluating the diverse make-up of the group. The student was concerned about the team being able to come together in unity to serve the Lord. "We were like an orchestra warming up, we sounded out of tune," the student said.

Jeremie Hill, with the assistance of the CBC team Co-leader and translator, Citlalli Macy, shared his testimony in the drug rehab. (Click to enlarge)An amazing thing happened by the time the team arrived in Ecuador, our Lord, The Conductor, began to lead His orchestra. The student remarked, "All the pieces fit together and sounded so beautiful. Everything we had prepared separately was exactly what was needed at the right time."

Not only did the Lord bring this team together, but He used them in mighty ways, so much so that the Cartagenas opened their recent ministry newsletter with the headline: "CBC Colorado brings 'Love in Any Language' to Machala & Huaquillas, Ecuador."

Mickey said, "As the team ministered in the home groups, in the church services, and in a rehabilitation center, they all ministered with the power of God’s love. How awesome it was to see the countenance on the people’s faces change as they encountered God’s unconditional love."

CBC student, Jeremie Hill, won't soon forget his time in Ecuador. He was given the opportunity to share his real-life prodigal son story at a drug rehab facility for men. Jeremie gave his victorious testimony, an account of coming out of the drug and alcohol scene after spending nearly a decade running from God. After Jeremie and a Jeremie, John (center, hand on man's back) and the team during a powerful time of prayer with the men who responded to the altar call.

classmate, John Leong, shared their stories of hope with the residents, they gave an altar call to accept the love and forgiveness that Jesus had for each them—the same love that had saved them. About a dozen men came forward to receive Jesus. Jeremie said, "I was ecstatic! Then, we gave an opportunity for them to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit...even more men came forward at that point!" Nearly 30 men went forward in all.

"We saw healings, salvations, and the Holy Spirit move everywhere we were allowed to teach—even in the park and especial at the drug rehab center. It blessed me to be a part of this Ecuador team," said CBC student, Jane Montague.

Jane (pink) and the CBC team performed a puppet show for kid's in a children's home. (Click to enlarge)Jane also shared that the one thing that touched her heart the most was when the team visited the children's home. The home named, La Casita de Mi Sueños (Little House of My Dreams) is a place for children from broken homes, homes where the parents are drug addicts and where the children had been severely abused. In the home Jane used a puppet show to teach a lesson about the Lost Sheep and how Jesus is like the shepherd. She made sure to point out how precious each person is to Jesus, including each one in the children's home. After the puppet show, 10 children came forward for salvation. Jane said, "I started crying to see God's plan come to life through that simple story. God sent me to Ecuador for that reason, and it was beautiful."

Mission: Bring the unconditional love of God to the people of Ecuador. Mission accomplished.

Jumping From the Fire Into Ministry

Jim and Jessie Huthmaker. Jim is a Charis Bible College graduate, and the two have founded Freedom Christian Center in Columbia, South Carolina.
Meet Jim. Jim was born again at an early age, and from the time he was a young boy, growing up in South Carolina, he knew that the Lord had called him to be a pastor. Almost from the moment he was aware of the calling, Jim pursued other avenues of fulfillment and security. In his twenties, Jim had chosen the security of being paid to skydive into burning wildfires over the thought of becoming a preacher.

Meet Jessie. Jessie was a highly successful personal trainer and co-owner of a booming fitness facility in South Carolina. In her mid-twenties she found that success had come at a price; she was stressed out, dissatisfied and lonely. In her 20's Jessie was part owner of a successful fitness facitlity, but her life was stressful. Turning her focus to Jesus radically changed her life. She still has a passion for fitness today and has operated a new gyms in Colorado and Columbia. This is Kettleball Konnection in Colorado.
Jessie turned back to the Savior of her youth in search of fulfillment, and she began to rekindle her intimacy with Jesus.

Back to Jim... After attending college on the South Carolina coast, where he studied forestry, Jim was offered a position with the United States Forest Service, and eventually became a Smokejumper—a highly esteemed position in his profession. Jim spent more than a decade based in Oregon, avoiding God’s voice and his calling to ministry.

It was while fighting a wildfire in Alaska in early 2005 that Jim experienced a life changing moment. He was cutting a fire line at four in the morning when he heard the Lord speak very clearly. Jim had just had the satisfying thought, "This is the life," After earning a degree in Forestry, Jim spent 14 years employed by the U.S. Forest Service as part of an elite group of Smokejumpers. (Click to enlarge)cross his mind, when before he could relish the moment, he heard the Lord counter with, "I still have a bigger calling on your life, and you are still doing this." Jim was stunned.

Although Jim continued living the life of a Smokejumper, the Lord's words stayed with him, and he wrestled with the thought of giving up his "cool" lifestyle. In late 2005, Jim broke his foot during a jump. His injury sidelined him from active duty, and he returned to South Carolina to work in a Forest Service office in Charleston. He calls this time in his life, "the season of great debates." His injury kept him out of the following fire season as well, which gave him ample time with the Lord. Jim's debates with God left him with a growing desire to attend Jim and Jessie stunned their friends and coworkers by dropping everything to go to Bible school. (Click to enlarge) Bible college.

While Jim was reevaluating his life, Jessie was in Columbia being radically changed by the Word. She had joined a Bible study group where she met a woman named, Ruby. Ruby spent a handful of years discipling Jessie. As she mentored Jessie, the two would often pray for Ruby's son, a wild young man named Jim, who jumped out of airplanes to fight fires for the Forest Service...

Through a long series of God-ordained events, Jim and Jessie's paths eventually crossed in 2006, and the two Jim and his mother Ruby at Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs.

connected instantly. Over the course of the next year, the Lord brought Jim and Jessie together and completely changed their lives. As they grew together they also realized their mutual call to ministry and shared desire to go to bible school. In a whirlwind, Jim resigned from the Forest Service, Jessie sold her share of the fitness center and her home, the two were married and they decided to make plans to attend bible school.

In 2008, Jim and Jessie found Andrew on television. The two began to watch the Gospel Truth program everyday at lunchtime; Jessie, Jim and their miracle babies, Aspen Joy and Elijah. Before meeting Jim, doctors told Jessie she would never have children because of sickness in her body. After deciding to have children, Jim and Jessie stood on the Word and Jessie was healed.
both were captivated by how clearly and understandably Andrew shared the message of Grace. After watching for several weeks they became aware of Andrew's Charis Bible College and the ministry's Summer Family Bible Conference. Excited by the opportunity, the two jumped at the chance to attend the conference in Colorado Springs. While visiting the campus they received solid confirmation from God that they were to attend CBC. Within a matter of months, Jim and Jessie had walked away from everything they had known and moved to Colorado.

"We just dropped it all—joyfully and with great anticipation for Jesus! Everyone around us was basically stunned. They knew we were excited about Jesus, but I don’t think anyone thought we would be crazy enough to drop such successful lives and move across the country After returning to South Carolina, this garage became the home of Jessie's Kettleball Konnection and the temporary home of the Huthmaker's church, Freedom Christian Center.

to go to Bible College," Jessie said excitedly.

Jim said, "People could not understand why, after 14 years, after all the hard work and training, I would just up and leave a fruitful career in the prime of my life. To the natural mind it made no sense, but stepping out in faith and believing God, above our selves, makes a lot of sense—spiritually."

Through CBC, the Huthmaker's understanding of the Word soared to new levels. The couple gained a deeper understanding of the believer's authority and the power of receiving what we have already been given in Christ. Through their new revelation, they were healed and blessed in many ways.

Freedom Christian Center's sign... a gift to the church worth more than $5000 with installation. (Click to enlarge)Jim was ever-conscious of his call to pastoral ministry, but he never spoke of it—not even to Jessie. But throughout Jim's second year at CBC, particularly during his mission trip to Nicaragua, people began to prophecy his pastoral calling over Jim, and some, without knowing who he was, would address him as "Pastor." As their time at CBC drew to a close, Jim and Jessie sought the Lord for their next step. The two felt a strong conviction to move back to South Carolina, back to the “Bible belt” to combat religion with the message of Grace. They knew they were to go back and pioneer a church plant.

Jim jumped into the fire of his calling on Easter Sunday of 2010. The Huthmaker's first service was held in Jessie's new fitness facility, a service station garage, and a dozen people showed up. "Our praise and worship was a boom box, the gym was literally a non-air conditioned garage, Freedom Christian Center's new sanctuary—with room for live praise & worship... (Click to enlarge)and we set up chairs amongst the weights. It was awesome," recalled Jim enthusiastically.

The Spirit of God has been on their endeavor from the beginning. They stayed in the garage for several months until they were able to rent an American Legion hall, and after one year of setting up and breaking down each week, the Lord blessed Freedom Christian Center with a building of its own. Today the Huthmaker's church is advancing the kingdom in grace, and Jim is working with the fire of the Holy Spirit instead of trying to fight against it. This is the Life...

CBC-Florida's Clermont Campus

CBC-Colorado graduate and director of CBC-Florida's Clermont campus, Terry Hull and his wife Melanie. (Click to enlarge)Twelve years ago, Terry and Melanie Hull were living, working, and raising their family in Colorado Springs. Terry worked for the insurance industry performing crawlspace inspections, and Melanie was at home raising their three children. Their growing family was happily maintaining their status quo, until an injury changed the course of the Hull's lives forever.

Terry's job required that he work in tight spaces, often while carrying and maneuvering heavy equipment in those cramped quarters. In 2001, Terry suffered a herniated disk in his lower back, which led to an excruciating case of sciatica. The pain in Terry's back became so uncomfortable that standing and sitting were unbearable. Even doctor prescribed pain medications would not alleviate Terry's discomfort. At the time, the only place Terry was able to find relief was flat on his back on the floor.

Approximately six months after Terry was injured, Melanie's mother, Eva Coldiron, gave her one of Andrew's teachings, You've Already Got It. Eva had just seen Andrew minister at a church in Colorado Springs, and she felt impressed to share his teaching with Terry.

Andrew prays over the Hulls, including their sixth child, Kate Evelyn, whom the enemy tried to steal during the pregnancy. Melanie suffered miscarriage-like symptoms, and doctors repatedly made claims of abnormalities including Kate having the markers for Down syndrome. The Hull's chose to believe God, and did not share the negative reports. The baby was born without Downs and remains perfectly healthy. (Click to enlarge) Melanie was vaguely aware of Andrew's presence on TV (she recalled changing the channel any time she saw him) but because of Terry's situation, she was happy to share the teaching with her husband. Terry had not heard of Andrew, but began listening to the tape from his mother-in-law. He played the message, not once, but over and over again. As he listened, Terry began to realize that he didn't have to wait any longer for God to answer his prayers for healing—he needed to receive what Jesus had already provided.

After listening to You've Already Got It about 50 times, Terry had a new revelation, and the gospel finally made sense to him. Within two months of receiving the teaching from Eva, Terry's back was totally healed. Because of the impact of Andrew's message, and because he wanted to know more, Terry enrolled in classes at Charis Bible College in Colorado Springs in the fall of 2001.

The message of God's grace and healing lit a fire inside Terry, and he would come home from classes excited to share what he had learned with Melanie. Over the course of Terry's two years at CBC, the Hull's lives were radically transformed, even down to the way they spoke to and interacted with their children. They had known that God Andrew, Jamie and the Hull's enjoy conversation outside the school in Clermont. (Click to enlarge)loved them, but they had never had their eyes opened to all that Jesus had purchased for them. This revelation of God's goodness changed their lives.

As Terry's graduation neared, the Lord began to lead the Hulls in a new direction—southeast—to Florida. God used Genesis 31:3, to lead Terry back to his homeland. Although they weren’t sure why they were to return to Florida, they knew that they knew God said He would be with them. Content in that promise, they made arrangements to relocate to Terry's hometown, after graduation, with the simple plan of living, continuing to raise their family, and getting involved in a local church.

Several years after their move, the director of CBC-Florida, Danon Winter, opened a secondary extension school in Orlando, and things became clearer for the Hulls. They realized that part of the reason they had been led to Florida was to be in a position to help with Classes at CBC-Clermont are curretly offered on a part-time basis on Monday and Thursday evenings. The Hulls plan to offer full-time classes in the near future. Here, Terry (foreground) facilitates a DVD class.
CBC-Florida's Orlando campus and the future expansion of CBC-Florida.

In an effort to be prepared to participate in CBC-Florida's continued growth, Melanie, now a mother of six, enrolled in first-year classes via the correspondence program, a program she hopes to complete this summer. As Melanie continues her studies, she and Terry have been part of the launch of another campus in Florida, about an hour south and west of CBC-Orlando. "We felt the Lord was leading us to start a school here in Clermont to make CBC classes more accessible to the west Orlando areas. After speaking with Danon and our pastor, the doors were literally flung open and we began our first year in September 2012. We have a church that is totally behind this, with the pastor attending all the classes as a student," said Melanie.

Melanie said that she and Terry would not trade the knowledge of the Word and the understanding of the peace of God that they now know for anything they had before attending CBC. "God used CBC to be the greenhouse of our spiritual growth. Before Andrew and CBC, we hoped God may heal us. Now we know that healing is ours. Andrew and Jamie stand with the Hulls and CBC-Clermont's first-year students. (Click to enlarge)We have seen sicknesses leave our children instantly by the Word. We have had miraculous provision in times of need. Now we walk in the blessings of God more than ever before and have the privilege of pouring these blessings out to others," she said.

As director and facilitator, the Hulls share the administrative duties of the school. Terry coordinates the schedule, and teaches live sessions, and Melanie helps facilitate DVD classes. As the current academic year draws to a close, the Hulls are looking forward to next year when, for the first time, they will accommodate both first and second-year students. They see a great opportunity to share the grace and faith message with the people of Clermont and the surrounding area.

CBC-Clermont currently offers classes on a part-time basis. Classes are held on Monday and Thursday nights. For more information visit the CBC-Florida website or Like Charis Bible College Clermont on facebook.

Rebuking the Enemy & Speaking Life

In her early teens, Taylor had been an active healthy athlete. At age 15, she stopped playing soccer and her social circles changed. Out of boredom she began using marijuana, cocaine and Xanax. (Click to enlarge)There was a sense of panic in the air, as EMT's and hospital staff worked feverishly to revive a young woman. She had been dropped off at the hospital by unnamed friends. When EMT's approached her, she was unresponsive, not breathing and without a pulse. By all accounts she was dead. How long she had been that way was unknown, but it was evident that she had overdosed on drugs. The panic at the hospital spread as her friends and family were notified of the dire situation.

The young woman's uncle, a police officer and EMT, was the first family member to arrive at the hospital. He recognized the bleakness of his niece, Taylor's situation. Assuming all was lost, he chose to wait at the hospital to comfort his sister, Taylor's mom, when she arrived.

Taylor was totally unaware of the earthly chaos and severity of her circumstances. "I opened my eyes, and I was in a grassy meadow. It was beautiful with trees surrounding it, and I felt this overwhelming love—like nothing I've ever felt before. It [heaven] is indescribable. I looked in front of me and I saw my grandmother sitting in the field (she had died about six years prior to my overdose) and I walked up to her and sat beside her. I started to ask her Taylor was born again when she was very young and had been raised in a Christian home. Both her mother and her grandfather frequently listened to Andrew. Taylor's grandfather would call each day, when she was small, to let her know Andrew's TV program was about to start.

why I was there with her, but she beat me to it. Her reply was in my mind, it wasn't auditory, 'You're in a hospital. You stopped breathing.' I was very confused by this, and I asked her, 'Well, do I have to go back?' She responded, "Yes, you do have to go back. It's not your time to be here yet," remembered Taylor.

Upon receiving notification of the situation, Lindie, Taylor's mom called her father, Frank, Taylor's grandfather, to share the tragic news. As she frantically told Frank, a longtime follower of Andrew's ministry, that Taylor was dead, he interrupted her. In a firm, but reserved tone he said, "Lindie, settle down. We're going to do exactly what Andrew and Jamie did when they got a call about their son being in the morgue. We're going to rebuke the spirit of death—command the spirit of death to take his hands off of Taylor, and we're going to call the life of Jesus back into her body. And, we're going to do that over and over and over until you get to the hospital and see what her condition is."

They both prayed on their journeys to the hospital. As Lindie prayed she heard the Lord say, "She will not die today." Shortly before Lindie and Frank arrived at the hospital, the medical team revived Taylor. Although she was still unconscious, she was breathing and her heart was beating. Once stabilized, Taylor was moved to the Intensive Care Unit where doctors induced a coma. They also Taylor and her sister Carly. Taylor's family prayed and stood on the Word, believeing that Taylor would live and not die—even as she "coded" for the third time. Her mother, Lindie, stressed, that it is important for people to believe God's report and not the doctor's reports. "I heard what they said, but I just chose to believe what God had told me when I prayed, which was, 'She will not die today.' (Click to enlarge) lowered her body temperature to protect what was left of her brain.

The hospital staff worked diligently with Taylor, but because of the quantity of drugs found in Taylor's system, they fully expected her to die. Though shaken, Lindie remained calm, prayed in the spirit and continued to rebuke the enemy's attempt to take her daughter.

Upon his arrival at the hospital, the medical team informed Frank of their concern for Taylor's brain. "Don't be concerned about her mind; it's as good as yours or mine," he said unmoved by the scene. Afraid Frank had not understood the severity of the situation, the doctors reiterated their worries. Frank, confident in the Lord's faithfulness, acknowledged what they had said and repeated his statement. The doctors stormed away in disbelief.

A few days later Taylor woke up and was completely unaware of her situation, but based on her family's reaction, she sensed that something terrible had happened. Later that day, she sent the ICU into a frenzy when she went into respiratory and cardiac arrest. The medical team was able to revive her temporarily, but she died for a Taylor and her daughter. Taylor was 22 when she overdosed, and her baby was only five months old. When Taylor took her daughter to school for the first time, Lindie saw that Taylor was crying. Lindie asked her why, and Taylor replied, "I'm just so happy to be here." (Click to enlarge)third time a little while later.

"My sister, Carly, told me that there were ten to fifteen people in my room doing CPR and trying to keep me alive. She said that there was a pool of blood on the floor under my bed, and my eyes were empty like I was dead. She said, I was also bloated and swollen and my fingers were blue," Taylor recalled as she shared what her sister had seen.

Finally, the team stabilized Taylor again, but they told Lindie that if Taylor's blood pressure didn't rise, they would lose her for good. Taylor's family and Deuane Woodard, a close family friend and CBC-Colorado graduate, sat outside of Taylor's room and prayed for about six hours for her blood pressure to return to normal—by the following morning it had.

Taylor was in the hospital for nearly two weeks, and she flat-lined three different times. The actual time she had been dead, prior to her arrival at the hospital, is uncertain, yet she not only left the hospital, but she left without any sign of brain or organ damage.

Taylor is thankful that her grandfather was aware of what had happened to Andrew's son, and how he used Andrew's testimony, and applied it to Taylor's situation. Today, Taylor loves the Lord, attends church and listens to Andrew when she can. She is also attending classes at a local college. Taylor's future is bright.

Lindie recalled the first time she and Taylor met with the neurologist, "Dr. Matthews said, 'Not only should you not have lived with all the drugs that were in your system, but if somehow you did live, you should have been a vegetable. I cannot believe I am sitting here talking to you. It is a miracle that you are here—you should not be here."

While Taylor was dead, she heard Jesus tell her that when she went back, she would be a different person, and that she would become the person he had planned for her to be. Her mother attests to this saying, "Taylor is a completely different person than she was before her overdose. Taylor had a bad temper, and she never gets mad now. She has patience and love beyond belief—that she never had before..."

Taylor said that her life before the overdose was very self-serving and hollow. Now, she enjoys the little things, like worshipping at church and watching her daughter do everyday activities. "Recently she started school, and I can't even tell you how grateful I was to have been there, to take her on her first day. She was only five months old when this happened, and to think that I would have missed out on all of this greatness freaks me out sometimes. So I enjoy the little things, the warm sun on my face, my daughter's laughter, singing at the top of my lungs in the car, my family and a good movie. At the end of the day, that's all that matters—the love between us all.

CBC Students Visit Berlin & Cologne

(Click to enlarge)Germany has become a ministry hotspot for Charis Bible College students from Colorado. While every CBC mission trip offers its participants ample opportunity to pour out the love of God in the surroundings of a foreign land, the teams that have visited Berlin over the past few years seem to have had decidedly different experiences than that of the other teams. Perhaps it is because street ministry in Germany more closely resembles ministry in a metropolitan American setting than that of a third-world nation; the people, with whom the ministry is shared, are just as needy in spirit, but they are not trapped by economic shortage. Whatever the case, to see those whose bondage stems more from having society's advantages, than from poverty and lack, receive Christ, provides a different sense of joy.

Students performing a drama in the center of Berlin, Alexanderplatz, with the International World Clock in the background. (Click to enlarge)In mid-April, 23 students and three leaders from Colorado Springs, including, CBC Mission Coordinator, Michelle Patterson, visited Cologne and Berlin. For nearly two weeks, the Colorado team was hosted by Jeff and Barb Serio and their Berlin-based ministry, European Initiative, and they spent most of their time ministering on the streets and in the open spaces of both cities.

Some aspects of the street ministry were a stretch for one CBC student, Justin McCormick. "I was way outside of my element," Justin said, "Dancing and skits just aren't my thing. However, I was committed to doing the Lord's work."

Although Justin soon realized that the trip was not about what he was comfortable with, but about blessing the people of Germany, he found that he was having limited success ministering to After watching one of the street performances, the two young ladies (left of center) had just received Jesus.

the people after each performance. Justin asked God to show him what the problem was, and God quickly responded. Justin said, "I asked God, 'What's the deal?' He said, 'Quit leaning unto your own understanding. Trust me, and I will fill your mouth.'"

Instantly, Justin thought of Proverbs 3:5-6 and Revelation 12:11, and with newfound boldness, he approached two girls from the crowd and began to tell them about the skit they had just watched. As he spoke, he asked if they had ever heard of Jesus, to which they both replied, "No." As he shared Christ, he stopped mid-sentence and looked at the girl to his left and said, "You have heard of Jesus. In fact, you have heard a lot about Him, and have been considering asking Him into your heart." The girl began to cry, and the Holy Spirit prompted Justin to share more with her. Moments later, she accepted Marcus Gresham (second from right) stands with some young men who received Jesus as their Savior.
Jesus as her Savior.

"On this trip I learned to trust God and let Him do the work. I stepped out in faith, and He did the rest," said Justin.

CBC student, Marcus Gresham, also found that as he spoke to the people of Germany, the Lord filled his mouth with His words. Marcus said, "Sometimes I spoke to groups as large as ten people. No matter the size, the Holy Spirit downloaded everything to me that I was to say to them. It was just like the instructors of CBC have taught—God will give you the right words to speak in that moment of time. The results were astounding! I personally was able to see 33 people make the decision to follow Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior."

Another CBC student, Tim Spadino, came across a group of Muslim students visiting from nearby Belgium. Tim found that one student was suffering with pain from a broken knee, and he offered to pray for him. "I offered to pray and he accepted, so Jeff [Serio] and I put our hands on his knee and commanded the pain to leave. Then I asked him to move it around, and he got super excited and started running around and saying, 'It's a miracle!' His teachers came over and asked what was going on. With a big smile, I told them to ask the boy about his knee. Then I got to tell them that Jesus was the One that healed him. They had to leave before anybody could accept Jesus, but I'm confident that this will change their view about Jesus—a little bit."

Letting Jesus' light shine in Germany—Hard to miss enthusiasm like this! (Click to enlarge)With each mission trip to Germany, more and more seeds are planted in the hearts of the German people, and the harvest for each team continues to grow. “This is my third time to lead a team to Germany, and I can see God moving, opening doors and transforming lives. The first team we took in 2011, only saw two people receive Christ. In 2012, we saw 44 salvations, and now this year, we had 121 people to accept Christ during our street ministry...The people are hungry, searching and opening up to receive," said Michelle.

Meet the Eastwoods, Directors of CBC-Kansas City

Mark and Charla Eastwood, Directors of Charis Bible College in Kansas City. (Click to enlarge)Mark and Charla Eastwood met in rural Kansas in 1990, and both truly believed they were born again. But when they realized that neither of their lives showed any visible fruit of the peace and joy that Jesus has promised to those who follow Him, they knew something wasn’t right.

As they sought the Lord, He led them to watch Kenneth Copeland’s television program, where they heard truths of God’s Word that they had never before been taught. Once they got a glimpse of all God had for them, they became immersed in learning more of His Word and His ways: “We learned about Mark and Charla on their second-year mission trip to Mexico in 2001.
divine healing, which we knew nothing about,” says Mark. “I prayed for Charla, and the sinus headaches she’d been plagued with almost daily for more than two decades were gone, never to return. We were off and running!”

After several years of walking with the Lord in a Spirit-led relationship, God put it on their hearts to attend Bible college. They had no idea where to begin searching for a Bible college, but God did. God led Mark into a conversation on his construction job site one day, and he was given a cassette tape of one of Charla teaching in Mexico. The outreach began while there was still daylight, and according to Charla, there were not many in attendance. By the time the team gave an altar call, more than 120 people came forward from the shadows to receive Jesus. Out of darkness into the Light! (Click to enlarge)Andrew’s teachings.

After learning more about Andrew and his ministry, they also discovered that he had a Bible college. At the time, Charis Bible College (CBC) Colorado was Andrew’s only college, so the Eastwoods began their studies via the correspondence program. After finishing their first-year courses, they relocated to Colorado Springs to complete the second-year program.

At CBC, the Eastwoods learned about God’s grace and love, how to live victorious Christian lives, and how to pray effectively—for themselves and for others. Charla recalls, “We were trained to minister. We volunteered on the prayer line, we effectively ministered discipleship, and we even traveled to other countries to minister.” In May of 2001, In 2012, the Eastwoods became the Directors of CBC-Kansas City. Here students attend class at the extension school. (Click to enlarge)the Eastwoods became graduates of CBC-Colorado.

Upon graduation, Mark and Charla returned to Kansas and began serving as prayer ministers at Gospel Truth Seminars around the country. “Using the training we had received at school, along with the opportunity for practical application, we were able to minister God’s love and grace to hundreds—seeing signs, wonders, and miracles following,” said Mark.

During this time, God arranged many divine appointments for the Eastwoods, and they began holding local Bible Mark and Charla speaking during a special event. CBC-Colorado's Healing School held a special seminar at CBC-Kansas City. (Click to enlarge) studies and meetings, where they taught the Discipleship Evangelism program while ministering and praying for people. In 2011, God opened a door for them to intern with CBC-Kansas City when the director, Cody Hull, relocated to Houston to start a new CBC. In March 2012, the Eastwoods were chosen to take the helm as directors at CBC-Kansas City.

“The 2012-2013 school year has been an exciting one,” said Charla. “The college relocated, we have all- new classes for first-year students, and we have hungry students who are learning Mark (center) praying for a pastor in Nicaragua. To Mark's left is CBC-Florida's Director, Danon Winter. (Click to enlarge)and growing quickly... Our second-year class has already been on a mission trip to Nicaragua, where they saw blind eyes opened and many physical ailments healed, along with salvations and baptisms in the Holy Spirit.”

Mark and Charla have caught Andrew’s vision of planting Charis Bible Colleges all over the world. They have seen firsthand how the message of God’s goodness and grace that is taught at CBC is both life giving and life changing. As the newest directors of CBC-Kansas City, the Eastwoods have the opportunity to impact their home community—and ultimately the world—in a bigger way than they ever thought possible. And it all started with a teaching tape that led them to CBC over ten years ago.

CBC Students: Willing to Go

CBC-Colorado student, Nadine Reitz, shares the love of God with a little girl in Nicaragua. (Click to enlarge)Charis Bible College-Colorado sent a 33 person mission team to Nicaragua in April. The group, led by Bruce and Joyce Ball, had the privilege of being hosted by Andrew's friends, Karen and Darey Jolley, and their ministry, Ambassadors to the Nations. Ambassadors is an international missions ministry, the focus of which is meeting the physical and spiritual needs of the poorest communities in Central and North America through short-term mission projects.

CBC-Colorado's 2013 Nicaragua team. (Click to enlarge)This CBC team ministered primarily to children in Managua, the Granada Islands and on the Island of Ometepe. The students performed skits, street dramas and puppet shows to engage the youth. They also preached, offered prayer, and passed out food, toys and necessities to the community.

While the humanitarian aid and ministry were warmly received, the CBC students could not look past the hurt behind many of the children's eyes. The pain perceived by CBC student, Marie Marsden, overwhelmed her. Marie said she saw sadness in many of the littlest girls and some middle and high school-aged children. "My heart just broke for them. I know that sexual abuse is rampant in Nicaragua. I was told by a team member from Ambassadors to the Nations that one out of every three girls is sexually violated on a regular basis," Marie shared.

The team saw some difficult living situations, particularly for the children. Marie came upon these situations regularly, and began to feel weighed down, so she turned to the Holy Spirit for comfort. In spite of the language barrier between Marie and the Spanish speaking communities, God was not hindered in moving among each and every divine encounter Marie experienced. "Not being able to speak the language, in some ways, made it easier to focus intently on the leading of the Holy Spirit while we were ministering. We saw the Spirit of God touch people’s hearts and lives—moving them to tears. We also saw bondages loosed, and the spirit of joy released in those for whom we prayed. Most enjoyable were the smiles which came from the beautiful children’s faces. Sadly though, we were not able to draw smiles from all the children," said Marie.

Gillian Moore (right).
Gillian Moore was also touched by her trip to Nicaragua, and her experience solidified her call to the mission field. Through this trip, Gillian was able to see God working all things together for good. Before she left for Central America, the Lord brought people, even some unbelievers, to help her prepare for her journey. People at work found out that Gillian was going on a mission trip, and they offered to provide the supplies she needed for the journey. Gillian said, "They really did help. They gathered crafts and toys, candy, women’s articles, and clothing. They pretty much filled my check-in bag, and we were able to distribute these items all over the place."

Gillian enjoyed the ministry in Nicaragua, the laughing, playing and dancing, and she said it was a rewarding experience. Among those to whom Gillian was able to minister were the two children she sponsors through Ambassadors' Sponsorship Program. "I was able to meet both of my sponsored children in Ometepe, and together with a fellow student, was able to minister to the mother of my one young boy who was in a difficult home situation. I am trusting that this home will continue to CBC Student, Jon Wolter, helps to paint the walls behind these young boys. (Click to enlarge)grow in the love of the Lord because of this ministry," she said.

Both Marie and Gillian mentioned the simplicity of making a difference in someone's life; it is the willingness to say, "Here I am Lord, send me."

I believe God is calling me to missions in the future, and going to Nicaragua has rekindled a flame that I thought had died out. I believe God wants His children to hear His heart, His love for the nations, and be willing to go. I am saying, "Here I am, Lord—Send me!"

Pure gold streams of water poured from a waterfall, emptying into a serene, shimmering gold pool. As David Illingworth gazed upon the beauty of the scene, he sensed the Lord beckoning him to stand in the pool under the golden waterfall. David obeyed and as he did, the gold water was absorbed into every fiber of his being. At that moment, he realized he wasn’t standing under a waterfall made of water but, rather, of God’s pure, unconditional love.

After receiving this life-changing vision in 2009, David knew without a doubt that God was calling him into kingdom service and out of the corporate world he had known his entire life. “At first I didn’t know what God was calling me to do,” says David. “I just felt compelled to learn more about God and His love.”

David speaking at his daughter's wedding. (Click to enlarge)A year prior, David was exposed to Andrew Wommack Ministries Europe (AWME) when a friend was diagnosed with cancer. David was given Andrew’s teaching God Wants You Well, and it completely changed the way he thought about and prayed for healing. Andrew taught God’s Word in a way that David had never heard before, and he wanted to hear more. In the fall of 2009, he enrolled in the Charis Bible College (CBC) correspondence course from his home in England.

After devouring the lessons, David was ready to move to Walsall and begin his second year at CBC. His wife, Lesley, wasn’t thrilled with the idea at first. But God spoke to her heart, and the Illingworths were off to Walsall. Upon graduating in 2011, David and Lesley decided to return for a third year.

“During my second year, God told me He wanted me to get to know Him. But during my third year, He said He needed me to get David (back row) stands with his CBC classmates in Walsall. (Click to enlarge) to know myself,” recalls David. By the end of David’s third year, God’s love had given him an unshakable hope, solidifying his faith and enabling him to minister in God’s grace. “I grew to understand who I am in God’s love, which has released peace into my heart,” explains David.

After their third year at CBC, the Illingworths didn’t know where to go next. “I had no plans and no open doors,” says David. “God just kept telling me to wait.” With his vast business background in sales, management, and organizational consulting, along with his global experiences from traveling to over seventy-five countries, there were numerous paths in the natural he could have pursued. But instead of pushing doors open, he simply waited on God. The payoff came in the form of a phone call.

“I received a call one day informing me that I was being considered as the new CEO of AWME,” recalls David. “As I thought about it, I realized the position perfectly fulfilled all that God had shown me and prepared me for over the years.”

In September 2012, David took the helm at AWME, taking over for Will Graham who had stepped down after serving as director since 2005. Under Will’s leadership, teaching materials have been translated into many European, African, and Asian languages, and Walsall became home for AWME and CBC West Midlands. But Will’s heart was primarily that of a pastor, and in May 2012, the opportunity arose for him to return as a full-time pastor to a growing church.David (back row) serving as part of the volunteer staff at Andrew's annual Grace & Faith Conference in the UK. (Click to enlarge)

Now that David is on board, he hopes to concentrate on developing relationships within the surrounding communities as well as nearby churches. “Many of the churches in the area see us as undermining their authority. We’re working on building trust by partnering with them to serve those in our cities,” says David. He’s confident that once those in Walsall and beyond taste of God’s love through these relationships, they will want to be a part of what AWME has to offer.

Assembling the Wooden Beams

Nine months ago construction crews broke ground at The Sanctuary, Charis Bible College's new campus in Woodland Park, Colorado. We have been bringing our readers a steady stream of updates since the very beginning of the project. As you will see in this video, the first building, "the Barn," as Andrew calls it, has come a long way since leaving the drawing board. Crews have worked through the long winter months, and at the time of the filming, craftsmen were constructing the huge wooden beams that will span the width of the building to support the roof.

(Click to enlarge)On May 20, 2013 a massive EF5 tornado ripped through Moore, Oklahoma. As media coverage shared the tragic details of the storm's damaging winds, Andrew, like many who were touched by the devastation, felt inspired to do something to help. In search of a way to do provide aid, and physical relief for the people of Oklahoma, Andrew connected with a person he has known for a long time, Dr. Denny Nissley, and his ministry Christ in Action (CIA).

One of eight big rigs CIA sent as part of their first responders team. (Click to enlarge)Denny's ministry has been in operation since 1982, and has been providing disaster relief since 1998, when he, and a team of volunteers, responded to a flood situation in Cuero, Texas. They have been among the first to respond to many of the nation's largest disasters over the last fifteen years. Their relief efforts have been so instrumental in helping those in distress that, at the request of The White House, they are currently developing a Faith Based First Responders Coalition to streamline a Dr. Denny Nissley, leads a chapel service for volunteers before going to work. (Click)nationwide rapid response network to handle future disasters.

When Andrew made contact with Denny, just after the tornado had touched down, CIA already had a convoy of tractor-trailers on their way to Oklahoma to help pick up the pieces and to provide help and hope to the hurting. At the time of their conversation, Denny had 2000 volunteers either on the ground or on the move, heading toward Moore. While Andrew was CIA red shirts from: IL, NC, PA, NJ, VA, TX, CT, OK, CO, AR & CA (Click to enlarge)not able to join the volunteers in person, he was still able to help; he and Jamie made their contribution to the relief efforts by making a financial donation. They focused their funds to help offset the fuel costs associated with mobilizing the relief effort.

Andrew saw their donation as an opportunity to be Jesus' hands and feet, providing the daily bread (Matthew 6:11) for those directly affected by the tornado. Andrew is encouraging those who feel led to CIA volunteers gather as Denny prays over a woman named, Brittany, whose home was leveled by the tornado. (Click to enlarge)help with the ongoing efforts (whether with volunteer time or by donating money) to partner with Christ in Action. Andrew said, "All donations go to support the cause, and no administrative fees are deducted. That’s a real blessing... Anything you can give will be a huge blessing to those in need."

Colorado Wildfires - Summer 2013

Colorado's latest wildfires will not affect Andrew's Summer Family Bible Conference scheduled for July 1-5, 2013. (Click to enlarge)As many readers are aware, wildfires have sprung up again in Colorado Springs and the surrounding areas. While these fires have taken center stage across Colorado's news and social media outlets, we wanted to assure those of you planning to attend this year's Summer Family Bible Conference that the event will be held as planned, and the schedule for July 1-5 remains unchanged.

The fire in the Colorado Springs area, known as the Black Forest Fire, is burning nearly 20 miles north and east of the Pikes Peak Center, the location of this year's conference in downtown Colorado Springs. The other wildfires burning across the region are more than 40 and 60 miles south and southwest of the conference location. None of these fires pose a direct threat to the downtown Colorado Springs area or the conference at this time.

Several of Andrew's staff members and their families have been directly affected by the fires and have been safely evacuated from the area; please keep them in your prayers.

Map of Colorado Springs and surrounding areas showing the proximity of the Black Forest Fire to AWM facilities. (Click to enlarge)In our first post about the fire burning in the Colorado Springs area, known as the Black Forest Fire, we made direct reference to the fact that the fire does not pose any threat to the upcoming Summer Family Bible Conference. This post was to assure those families traveling from around the world to attend the conference, that the scheduled festivities will take place as planned. Since the first post on June 12, several of our ministry friends and partners have expressed concern with regard to the fire's proximity to the Andrew Wommack Ministries headquarters, the current Charis Bible College campus, and the new campus under construction in Woodland Park. All of these facilities are well out of harm's way.

The Black Forest Fire is burning far to the northeast of all AWM and CBC properties. The ministry is not in any danger, and as mentioned in the previous post, the fire is not near the Pikes Peak Center, the location of this year's conference in downtown Colorado Springs.

In addition, Andrew's new Association of Related Ministries International Conference, scheduled for June 19-21, will be held as planned at the AWM headquarters on Elkton Drive in the Springs.

While the ministry and its events have not been directly impacted by the wildfire, several staff and their families are among the more than 30,000 people that have been displaced by the Black Forest Fire. Please keep these families and the crews fighting the fire, in your prayers.

For those with Colorado Springs area lodging reservations for the summer conference, please contact your individual hotel, motel or campground for specifics on how the fire may be affecting your accommodations.

On May 13, 2013, Andrew filmed a construction update at The Sanctuary in Woodland Park. While each of our previous video updates have revealed the steady advancements at CBC-Colorado's new campus, none, to this point, has carried the weight of this update—literally. In this video, as Andrew reviews the progress, you will see the construction crews use a crane to hoist and put in place the enormous, 45-ton, wooden beams. With the 630,000 pounds of wood in place, the building has really begun to take shape and to resemble the artistic renderings readers were introduced to in April of 2011.

God's True Nature Revealed in Atlanta

Andrew during Thursday night's opening meeting for the 2013 Atlanta GTS. (Click to enlarge)"God loves us more than any of us realize." Those were Andrew's opening words on the first night of the Gospel Truth Seminar held in Atlanta last month. Andrew spent all five sessions explaining the magnitude of his opening statement as shared a message called, The True Nature of God.

Beginning with the book of Genesis, Andrew unfolded God's graciousness, pointing out that God didn't even burden Adam and Eve with knowledge of the full weight of their error and how it would affect all of humanity. Andrew made the point that the shame Adam and Eve felt, simply by realizing they were naked, was enough for them to feel severely condemned by their wrongdoing.

Andrew makes reference to his own perspective. (Click to enlarge)Andrew spent the weekend testifying to the fact that God is always good, that He loves us, and that His true nature is love (1 John 4:8). Saturday morning, as he was giving a brief recap of what he had shared in the previous sessions, Andrew voiced a particular pet peeve; he made the point that what he was teaching, about God's loving nature, was counter to a doctrine prevalent in the Church today—that God sovereignly controls everything. Before getting back to the focus of his teaching for the weekend, Andrew said, "That is the worst doctrine in the body of Christ... it gives people the wrong impression about God."

Andrew's Prayer Ministry Team, on this trip, consisted of nearly 30 volunteers from CBC campuses in Atlanta and Colorado, along with numerous ministry partners. The purpose of their involvement in Atlanta was to shadow Andrew's team, observing their various responsibilities, to gain experience and readiness for the GTS to be held in Australia in the fall.

The prayer ministers saw significant results, even before Andrew had started teaching, Thursday night. Before the first meeting, two ladies approached prayer ministers. One lady with eye problems said that she struggled with floaters and that they were affecting her vision. After prayer, her eyesight was completely restored. The second lady was healed from sciatica and all her pain left immediately, as the minister prayed for her. "This powerful start [to the GTS] Saturday night's meeting. By the end of the conference, 18 people had chosen to receive Jesus, and 180 more were baptized in the Holy Ghost.

encouraged others, and we began to see all kinds of conditions healed," said Prayer Minister Coordinator, Carlie Terradez.

A man named, George, sought prayer for relief of chronic severe pain that had nagged him for years. His pain radiated throughout his shoulders and arms and he said the pain was a constant 10 on a scale of 1-10. After prayer, George's pain was a zero—completely gone. George's life was changed.

Multitudes of people with back and neck issues saw instant healings. One lady, who had been wheelchair-dependent following a car accident two years ago, rolled forward for prayer. She told the minister that she had broken her back in the accident, and she had to wear leg braces. After prayer, she removed the braces and began walking for the first time since the accident. As the weekend came to a close, many had come to the conclusion that Andrew's opening statement was true, God loves us more than any of us realize—it is His true Nature.
